The inspiration for this project stems from a photograph of Eva herself. There was something magnetic in that gaze, at once piercing and fragile, which led us to imagine a portrait close to an inner state. From that initial intuition, we built a piece centered on presence. The city, the reflections, the wind, and the light accompany Eva on a journey that is more sensory than narrative. Her own voice appears on- and off-camera like a thought breaking through, opening a small rift in the images and drawing the portrait into a more intimate space.
